What is your institute located in?
We have two (2) operational Remote Pilot Training Organizations (RPTO) located in Pune (Head Office) and Gujarat (Rashtriya Raksha University). The 3rd RPTO is still in process and shall be located in Chandigarh. We hope to expand PAN India soon.

Duration of the Courses?
All of our courses fall within the duration of 5 – 10 days depending on the course. Almost every course has a 5 days duration except the Drone Building Course (10 Days) & Python for GIS Course (7 Days).
Do we need to bring/ require our own Drone for Drone Pilot Training?
Not necessary. We have UIN Certified Micro and Small Class drones for training. All you have to do is enroll and rest assured.
However if you wish to bring your drone for hobby training purposes, we can allow for that.

Eligibility criteria for DGCA Drone Pilot Training course?
The eligibility criteria for DGCA Drone Pilot Training:
- Valid Indian Passport
- 10th Standard Passing Certificate
- Age Criteria: 18 to 65 Years
- Medical FItness Certificate (Template shall be provided by DroneAcharya)
What is the average salary of a Drone Pilot?
The average salary of a Drone pilot as a fresher in India is around 25-30k INR. According to the Indian Government, the country needs 1 Lakh DGCA Certified Pilots in the coming years.
When does the next batch start?
Our DGCA Drone Pilot Training batch starts every Monday to Friday as it is a 5 Day Course. For other courses we can start according to your preference.
Do we need any prerequisites or a laptop for the course?
Please ensure to bring the xerox hard copies of the uploaded documents along with you. You are not required to bring any laptops though. Simply enrol for the course and jump into the world of drones with DroneAcharya.
